At Alkor Dance Studio, our Kids & Teens Program is specifically engineered to introduce children to the joyful world of Ballroom and Latin American dancing in a structured, nurturing, and high-energy studio environment. Based primarily at our main studio location at 21 Enterprise Street, Birkenhead, and taught by champion coach and international adjudicator Ekaterina Prus, young dancers learn essential footwork, body alignment, posture, musicality, and coordination while forming lasting friendships.

Junior Beginners (Ages 5-9)

Playful rhythm, musicality, and fundamental footwork games.

Intermediate kids Latin Samba dance lesson

Intermediate Squad (Ages 10-13)

Technique refinement in Samba, Cha-Cha, Jive, and Waltz.

Teen Competition (Ages 14-17)

Championship choreography and NZ DanceSport prep.
